They say the greatest gift you can give someone is a song. Songs take many different forms. I like to believe creation followed the sound of a melody. Being a musician, I love how a melody can transport your mind, spirit and soul to another place; changing your mindset, attitude and even perspective on life. I also think songs echoes prayers and is one of the most beautiful gifts we can give as worship to God. I think that colors follow sounds. This painting is meant to be the physical representation of a melody sung in the heavens. Through the various colors you can see the movement and progression of the song as if the colors are notes and octaves traveling through time; creating a celestial melody.
