I love how jewels have many facets and are multi colored. This picture was inspired by the idea of jewels formed in heaven. Each one is meticulously made and shines from every angle. It’s part of a larger whole with many different sides. This painting was meant to tell the story of a custom jewel made to reflect the glory of God. It also reflects how we are like God’s jewels, each unique, each precious and each sparkling its own unique way. It captures the idea of many facets in a prism; cut from many angles but whole in the light.
