Celebration
Celebration
This painting took many twists and turns to arrive where it did; a party. It tells the story of a journey and a celebration. It is full of life and is like a giant party being thrown for a joyous occasion. The movement represents cheers, joy, laughter, celebration. As if confetti and streamers were being thrown all around. The colors are full of life; it’s as though heaven and earth kiss and are celebrating together the life that has been returned. The party has started. Come as you are!
Party | Luke 15:22-24 | But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and out it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is now alive again; he was lost and now is found.’ So they began to celebrate.. (The prodigal son’s party, A celebration is ordered because the lost son has returned.)
